This spring has been incredibly busy. School is now finished for the year, and summer break has come like a breath of fresh air.
Gracie and I had a fun photo shoot together at Boone Park. Well, there's one photo that we took at a business on Lane Avenue (the huge white wall), but the rest were taken in the park. Gracie had a wonderful time with the balloons. We laughed and giggled. We laughed even harder when her shoe fell in the little creek. Don't worry; it was easy to retrieve!
It's hard to believe my baby girl is six years old....I'm so glad I have these pictures to preserve our precious memories!
We were at Hanna Park yesterday for the Great Strides Walk for a cure for cystic fibrosis. The walk was great! (I actually ran the 10K.) Before we left, Gracie took a few moments to play in the water at the beach. I'm so glad I took my camera!
The Floridal Coastal School of Law hosted the 2012 Barrister's Ball at the Everbank Field's Touchdown Club. I had the privilege of working with Captured Memories by Esta Eberhardt. This is the first really big event that I have covered as a photographer, and Esta was wonderful to work with!

The ball was a charity event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. One of the best parts of this glamorous evening was knowing that the proceeds were going toward families in need!
Don't you just love bunnies? A friend of mine kindly offered the use of her barn and adorable bunny for a few photo sessions.
This bunny is SO sweet! She let the girls do pretty much anything they wanted. They loved petting her soft fur. :)
Our minivacation to St. Augustine during spring break was wonderful! Anastasia State Park is a great place to camp. Old St. Augustine is full of stuff to do. We tried different types of food--Cuban and Greek. We even toured a chocolate factory. And of course there was sthe beach. :) Unfortunately, our trip was cut a little short because of sickness, but that doesn't change the fact that we made wonderful memories!
It was so peaceful in the cemetary on Sunday. The weather was perfect--not too warm and not too cool. The gentle breeze stirred the trees and made the fountain spray every once and awhile. I was glad to have a few moments to take some photographs in a place I drive by every single day. It's on the way to school (my work). It's on the way to church. We can't even go to Publix or Wal-Mart without driving past it. I've wanted to take some pics there for a long time, and I finally had an extra 45 minutes (in great weather) to do it!
